About Elementio Group
Since 2009, we've built at the convergence of AI, energy, and physical infrastructure. Turning constraints into competitive advantages for the organizations shaping what comes next.
Ilya Tabakh
Infrastructure Innovation Strategist. Currently VP of Innovation at TensorWave, where I bridge AI software ecosystems with physical infrastructure: power, cooling, siting, and grid integration.
Previously spent five years as Entrepreneur in Residence at Black & Veatch, working at the intersection of energy transition, digital infrastructure, and hyperscale AI data centers. I helped evolve the model on the missing middle in the energy transition FOAK ecosystem and deepened understanding of key infrastructure issues in utility-scale digital infrastructure.
Before that, I founded and led Blockchain Productivity, deploying $10M in modular, high-density data center infrastructure at the industrial edge, scaling to 40,000 CPU cores at up to 20 kW rack densities.
Five founded ventures. BS and MS in Computer Engineering. A career built on pattern recognition from building where software ambition meets physical reality.
Elementio Group
Elementio Group has been Ilya's platform since 2009 for strategic consulting, advisory work, and connecting the dots across AI, energy, and infrastructure. We specialize in AI infrastructure strategy and climate tech acceleration, bridging disciplines that rarely talk to each other.
Our approach emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and strategic insight. We partner with organizations deploying significant CapEx where compute demand meets grid reality.
Building at the Edge of What's Possible
A trajectory shaped by finding opportunity in constraints, from biodiesel to data centers to AI infrastructure.
Driving innovation strategy for GPU infrastructure company. Building partnerships with research institutions and startups, evaluating emerging technologies, and developing frameworks for rapid technology adoption in AI/compute infrastructure.
Bridged key markets of strategic importance across energy transition, digital infrastructure, and hyperscale AI data centers. Guided early-stage companies, connected internal expertise with external innovators, and helped evolve the FOAK ecosystem model.
Built from the ground up. Deployed $10M in modular data center infrastructure, scaling to 40,000 CPU cores at up to 20 kW rack densities. Pioneered forward-deployable data centers at the industrial edge and behind-the-meter at generation sites.
Built the first sports insights application powered by IBM Watson. Evolved from fantasy football analytics into athlete health and performance, partnering with KU Hospital on AI-powered player safety analytics.
Pioneered affective computing and behavioral analytics for audience measurement. Gigabit Challenge finalist. Bridged computer vision, cognitive science, and behavioral psychology.
Strategic consulting across AEC, healthcare, financial services, and non-profit sectors. Catalyzing AI-driven solutions and sustainable growth. Co-host of EIR Live and Powering the AI Stack.
